Nicole Doyle

1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis at just three years old. This disease may seem rare, but 300,000 kids in the US have JRA. There is no known cause and no known cure which is why I am so passionate about raising awareness. Kids get arthritis too!

2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
As a young child, I helped my mom deliver and raise English Retrievers. One time when I was 10, our dog Daisy went into labor while my mom was gone. I delivered 3 puppies on my own and even saved one by resuscitating it! This is one of the events in my life that led me to my career in the medical field.

3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
For as long as I can remember, I've helped my dad with our family rental business. After many years of fixing up rentals and flipping houses, I have turned into a pretty handy girl! Now I am very good at problem solving, fixing things around the house, and probably close to being a professional painter! This has led me to be a very independent young woman.

4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
I am a Minnesota girl through and through and I adore fishing! Every summer, my brother and I go fishing at our family cabin on Tame Fish Lake. I do my best but he always seems to beat me! Maybe this year will finally be my lucky year?

5.What do you feel is the hardest job in the world and why?
A recent high school graduate, I completed 32 credits (with a 4.0 GPA) as a PSEO student during this--my final year--of high school. The PSEO program allows 11th and 12th grade students to earn college credit while still in high school, through enrollment in and successful completion of college-level courses. As a result, I have already completed my first of year of schooling toward my Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree.
