Kayla Rivera - Top Ten
1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
The winter season is my favorite time of the year. It brings my family closer during the cold weather-watching movies and playing board games. It’s the time of year when you really appreciate what you have in life - spending time with family and friends.
2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I was adopted at birth; I was blessed with amazing parents and memorable life experiences. We’ve recently met with my biological family. My family has doubled in size and I’m no longer the baby of the family - I have 4 beautiful younger siblings who now look up to me.
3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
The village of Jeffersonville is a small, old-fashioned farming town. Jeffersonville may not have the most attractions or a city like atmosphere, but what it does have is a strong bond between all of its citizens. It is a town ripe with good morals and even better ethics.
4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
I’d have to say my worst habit is that I’m a perfectionist when it comes to school work. I could never submit anything to a teacher unless it’s neat and I know I did it to my full potential.
5.What do you feel is the hardest job in the world and why?
I’d love to travel to Israel, not only does the culture and history interest me, but they also have such an amazing amount of diversity. One day I hope to travel there and volunteer at the TRCI-they’re an amazing Therapeutic Riding Facility that I’d love to learn more about.
