Miss Teen Minnesota International®

Jenny Monson - 1st Runner-Up

1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
Autumn has always been my favorite time of year. I love the crisp air and lovely rich colors as the leaves begin to change. I enjoy wrapping myself in a cozy blanket while reading a great book with a warm cup of cocoa in my hand.

2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
My basketball coach nicknamed me the “Terminator.” I got this name because no matter how many times I was injured, I would refuse to be taken out of the game. A lot of people find this humorous because they don’t expect it from a girl who competes in pageants.

3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
My hometown of Prior Lake has a great small-town feeling. No matter where you go, there will be a friendly face and a warm smile to greet you. With 14 lakes and 51 parks, there is always a way to enjoy the great outdoors.

4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
My worst habit is my obsession with grades. When I attended a private school, I would rush home everyday to check my grades online. In the end, it proved how motivated I was to push myself to the best of my abilities.

5.What do you feel is the hardest job in the world and why?
One day, I would love to travel to Venice, Italy. The architecture and history have always fascinated me. It would be a beautiful city to explore. While there, I would visit the St Mark’s Basilica in the Piazza San Marco and ride a gondola through the water canals.
