Kyla Wilson - Co Congeniality Award
1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
The funniest thing I believed as a child was that when I listened to the radio, the band or artist was performing right there and then. I remember thinking that it must have been such a tiring job to sing some of the same songs on repeat all day and doing it perfectly every time.
2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
The one talent I wish I had would probably be being able to ice skate. Ice-skating is such a beautiful sport and I am in awe every time I watch someone perform. The precision and gracefulness people display is mind-blowing. Maybe one day I’ll get on a rink and see if I am any good.
3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
My biggest supporter outside of my amazing family is my best friend. My best friend and I have a 16 year long friendship and she has never once not had my back. If I need advice she’s there, if I had a dance recital ? she’s there, A pageant ? yep, she’s sitting right with my family. She is the best support system I could ever ask for.
4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
The best costume I’ve ever worn for halloween was probably the costume I didn’t have much say in. Around the ages of 1 or 2 my mom put me in the most adorable pumpkin costume. Honestly I would so dress up as a pumpkin again just for nostalgia except this time it might not be as adorable but more so funny.
5.What do you feel is the hardest job in the world and why?
The song that makes me want to dance 100% of the time is ‘September’ by earth wind and fire. I have a childhood memory with my best friend to this song but outside of that, what’s not to love ? It’s a classic feel good song that’s guaranteed to put you in a good mood!
