Maho Yamamoto

1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
I believed that there was a dwarf in my house. I called her “Konoka” and I played with her. My mother also said she heard footsteps of me and someone. I am sure she is a Yokai called “Zashiki-warashi” We believe Zashiki-warashi sometimes play pranks but she brings good luck to people who see her. As I grew up, I became invisible at some point.

2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
The talent I wish I had is singing. It is very attractive to be able to send a message in a song. And most of all, singing has the power to make many people smile, so I hope I can sing a song that moves someone’s heart. On the other hand, if I had a talent for singing, I might not have thought of using sign language with dance.

3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
This is Ms. Itsuko, who has taught me how to dance since I was little. She understands my interests and respects my thoughts. And she supports my challenge from the bottom of her heart at any time. "It is Maho’s good point to try without fear of anything" Thanks to her words, other people also start supporting me. I am very grateful to her for always supporting me.

4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
The best costume ever is a witch costume I wore with dance teammates when I was in elementary school. We wore black costumes arranged for each of us and put on makeup with black eyeshadow and black lipstick. Then, we performed a spooky and cool dance and received a lot of applause.

5.What do you feel is the hardest job in the world and why?
I love dancing, so I will dance to any song. When I was a child, I used to dance to even nursery rhymes and classical music. Among them, the song makes me want to dance the most is “7-Rings” by Ariana Grande. Of course, it's wonderful music, but it's also the song that I choreographed as the leader of a dance team in the first time, so "7-Rings" makes me want to dance.
